GUILDHALL SHORT COURSES IN FILM MUSIC COMPOSITION
Arranging and composing are among Mairi’s numerous musical interests. In the last year she completed two classes in film music composition with the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Using scores for solo piano, orchestra, and big band, Mairi’s work on the course spanned the genres of silent film, animation, thriller, and documentary, capturing emotional sensitivities within each scene.
Mairi is working towards combining her passions for music and environmental sustainability with the intention of creating compelling soundtracks for films and documentaries.
